In its homeland, 90% of plastic waste is disposed of in the ocean and at the same time it has a large supply of algae. They founded the company <em>Evoware<\/em> to produce a plastic-free alternative from marine plants. The biodegradable material contains many minerals and vitamins and also has a shelf life of up to 2 years. Due to its food-safe properties, <em>Edible Seaweed Packaging<\/em> can be used as packaging for spices, sugar, coffee, toothpicks, napkins or food. If the film comes into contact with water, it dissolves without leaving any residue.
