Felix and Can go out.<\/h1>\n\n

The MILK. Food Lab<\/a> Frankfurt goes out, which means Can and Felix visit their favorite places for lunch. The agency is located on the North End border and there is no need to leave this part of the city, because there is a wide choice of snack bars and restaurants with regional or international food. <\/p>\n\n

So here you can enjoy the world without getting into the hustle and bustle of the city center. The north end is hardly visited by tourists and a relaxed lunch break begins with a walk to your favorite pub. <\/p>\n\n

The destination is the Phoenix Tea<\/a> on Friedberger Landstra\u00dfe. This small tea store and “Salon de Th\u00e9” with specialties from Taiwan and Japan, not only serves and sells high quality teas, but also offers a small lunch menu. The owners are from Vietnam and prepare some Vietnamese dishes every day. Another special feature of the Phoenix is the design of the rooms. Dark colors and wood create a relaxed environment, here you quickly come completely to yourself and feel like in another world. <\/p>\n\n

Like a little vacation during your lunch break<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

This time we enjoy the nice weather, sit out and eat B\u00fan chay, a vegetarian rice noodle bowl: The bowl has it all: crispy and aromatic, crisp and fresh, warm and cold. Light but very varied and therefore the perfect lunch. Actually much more than that. Our visit is like a little vacation during the lunch break. <\/p>\n\n

Satisfied, we move on. Because the Nordend has much more to offer. There are some very good ice cream parlors here and today we want to try “the new kid on the block”. The antipodean gelato<\/a>. The name sounds unusual – the expression refers to people from Australia and New Zealand, because that’s exactly where the operator comes from. So here we have “artisan Italian style gelato with Aussie flair”. Already the design of the store stands out positively and the ice cream, Dulce De Leche in a homemade wafer, is in no way inferior to this. <\/p>\n\n

We can clearly recommend the Nordend as a culinary destination in Frankfurt, but we hope to be able to spend relaxed lunch breaks here in the future as well, without the tourist hustle and bustle.<\/p>\n
