Golden Milk<\/h1>\n\n

No sooner said than done, here is our first practical attempt at a golden milk from the GOLDEN MILK.. Food Lab. We prepare our first GoldMilk in the traditional way, using turmeric, nutmeg, ginger and fresh cow’s milk. <\/p>\n\n

Off into the paint pot<\/h2>\n\n

First we cook a paste, for this we grate the ginger over a sharp grater. In a pot we boil water, turmeric powder, a pinch of nutmeg and the grated ginger. We then let this mixture boil down for another 10 minutes. In the process, the water reduces and a deep yellow paste is created, with an incredible radiance. This is very nice, but also left traces in the FoodLab, so that now some containers are yellow… By the way, turmeric is not only used for coloring food, but also for textiles. <\/p>\n\n

MILK. and Honey<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

To finish the “Golden Milk”, we take the fresh milk and add two generous tablespoons of the paste. We can immediately see how the turmeric paste develops its color power. But it’s not just the color that makes the milk so special. <\/p>\n\n

That which so dazzles is called curcumin<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

As already described, Golden Milk is considered an Ayurvedic miracle potion that is supposed to do a lot of good. This is not only due to the curcumin contained in turmeric and its strong anti-inflammatory properties, also the ginger contained is known to be a potent rhizome that is rich in vitamin C and also contributes positively to the miracle of golden milk through magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, sodium and phosphorus. To sweeten the milk a little, we add a small spoonful of honey, finally MILK. and HONEY. This is music to<\/a> our ears<\/a> and has been used many times in this industry. <\/p>\n\n

We pour the finished GoldMilk through a hair sieve to filter out the ginger, which is still very fibrous. Ready is the best of all honey milk! This can be enjoyed cold or warm and the whole thing can be varied of course and tastes great even with vegetable Mich (not everyone wants to take away from the golden calf), we will try a few more variations as announced. <\/p>\n\n
