Novula – A Little Break on the Cloud<\/h1>\n\n

According to recent surveys, a large portion of the working population reports feeling mentally overwhelmed on a regular basis\u2014triggered by time pressure, constant availability, sensory overload, and the constant demand to maintain high performance. The concept<\/h2>\n\n

Novula is an edible gel inspired by traditional sports gels\u2014but with a completely different focus. Instead of providing energy for the body, Novula offers gentle support for the mind. The Packaging<\/h2>\n\n

Packaging is a key component of the concept. Novula comes in an edible algae film that is consumed along with the gel. This eliminates a major problem with traditional on-the-go products: packaging waste. Small portion sizes, in particular, generate a disproportionately large amount of waste, which is rarely recycled and often ends up in the environment. <\/p>\n\n

Algae-based films offer an exciting approach here. Algae grow quickly, require neither farmland nor freshwater, and do not compete with agricultural crops. They sequester CO\u2082 as they grow and can even help improve water quality in coastal regions.
