They have a significant influence on the quality of recycled materials &#8211; whether plastics or paper. To solve the problem, labels could be dispensed with altogether, as shown here in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milk-food.de\/2024\/weniger-etikette-fuer-mehr-recyclingfaehigkeit\/\">thought experiment<\/a>. Here, recyclability was given top priority during development and certified by third parties.   <br\/>The acrylate adhesive is used for olefin film labels that are applied to PET bottles. While an energy-intensive high-temperature process was previously required to completely remove the labels, the new adhesive offers improved washability &#8211; even at 65 \u00b0C for PE facestock. The lower energy consumption in the process also helps to better preserve the quality of the PET. For example, the Austrian printing company Gugler was the first printing company in the world to receive <a href=\"https:\/\/c2ccertified.org\/the-standard\">Cradle to Cradle certification<\/a>. The company has been awarded the seal for a total of 81 components. All substances used in printing are examined, taking into account the entire supply chain.
