Good packaging doesn’t just make products visible—it brings brands to life. That’s why we’re all the more pleased that our packaging design for the coffee brand Laudatio by Rossmann has been honored with the German Brand Award 2026 in the Brand Design – Packaging category.

This project illustrates what we mean by strategic packaging design: clear brand positioning, a distinctive visual identity, and a design system that provides guidance while evoking emotion. The goal was to make Laudatio stand out from the monotony of the coffee shelf and give the brand a modern, high-quality, and distinctive look.

At the heart of the relaunch is a brightly staged moment of enjoyment featured on the packaging, combined with clean typography and an eye-catching color palette. The result is a design that not only clearly distinguishes the different varieties but also conveys warmth, quality, and trust—exactly the values that consumers associate with a good cup of coffee.

The German Brand Award honors brands that set new standards through consistent design and strategic brand management. The fact that our joint project with Rossmann is among the year’s award-winning works confirms our belief: Packaging is much more than just a container. It is one of the strongest points of contact between a brand and its audience.
