This results in sustainable materials such as packaging that is biodegradable and produced with a negative carbon footprint. The products are created under license from Ecovative and have Cradle to Cradle Gold certification. The functions of mycelium-based products are ideal for packaging applications. Firstly, the products have high impact resistance and good protective value. Therefore, it is possible to design packaging for a wide range of shape variations.
