IDEATION WORKSHOPS
Together, we develop new product and packaging ideas in intensive workshop formats: fast, practical and inspiring.
Simply start with your co-creation workshop.
Marketing wants paper packaging, but the product doesn’t allow it? The mono plastic film runs on the machine, but the end consumer says “plastic is bad”?
Developing innovative products and packaging is more complex than it seems. In our co-creation workshops , we rethink with you. Holistically instead of in silos and with a clear focus on the challenges of your product.

We work with teams from your key departments such as marketing, packaging development and product development to develop strategies, new solutions and concepts for your future products. We use agile design thinking methods, creative prototyping and AI visualization,
to bring your ideas to life.
“It was a valuable experience for us – and an example of how collaborative development with the right partners can create real added value – a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to take their packaging development to the next level!”
Maxi Hoyer (Packaging Developer – Carl Kühne KG (GmbH&Co.))

Our innovation process
The co-creation workshops are part of our innovation process and can be combined with many of our other tools, such as the Trend Radar. We were able to implement the entire process for our client Bad Heilbrunner, for example.
1st Packaging Checkup – Where do we stand?
Analysis of the portfolio
Regulation Check
Creation of a comprehensible overview
2 Agenda 2030 – Where do we need/want to go?
Packaging strategy
Guidelines & lines of action
3. innovation sprints – How do we achieve our goal?
Co-creation workshop on site
Development of new product & packaging concepts
Implementation of the concepts
For the implementation phase, our creative design team is at your disposal with numerous services, from brand strategy to performance measurement at the POS.
1. what are co-creation & innovation workshops?
Our workshops are intensive, hands-on innovation events where teams from marketing, product and packaging development work together to develop new product and packaging ideas – holistically rather than siloed. Agile design thinking methods, creative prototyping and AI visualization make ideas visible and tangible in real time.
2 Who are these workshops suitable for?
Ideal for brands that want to overcome complex packaging challenges: From material issues (“plastic is evil”) to machine-compatible film. You work with us to develop practicable solutions that meet technical requirements and user needs in equal measure.
3. how does the innovation process work?
Our structured process consists of three phases:
- Packaging check-up: analysis of your portfolio, legal requirements(regulation check), clear overview.
- Agenda 2030: Definition of strategic goals – packaging strategy and guidelines for sustainable innovation.
- Innovation Sprints: On-site workshop with development and implementation of specific product and packaging concepts.
4. which methods and tools do we use?
We combine:
- Design thinking for user-centered idea generation
- Prototyping – from sketches to mock-ups
- AI visualization for instant visualization of ideas
- Integration with other tools such as the Trend Radar for trend analysis
5 What happens after the workshop?
Our creative design team takes on the further development of your ideas – from brand strategy and packaging prototyping to performance measurement at the POS. We accompany the entire implementation process through to market maturity.
6. what concrete advantages do the workshops offer?
- Collaborative communication of ideas between departments
- Speed: concepts are created in a workshop format
- Innovative strength through multidisciplinary methods
- Direct transition to design, implementation and testing
7 Where do the workshops take place?
In your area – we offer workshops at your location or at one of our locations in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Zurich. Flexibly adaptable to your needs and location.
8. how can you start a workshop?
It’s simple: get in touch with your contact person Eleonore Eisath at eleonore@milk-food.de or via our appointment booking service: make an appointment here. We will clarify the workshop framework and objectives together.
