CREATIVE KITCHEN
PROTOTYPING
We provide creative impulses for your new product development in our experimental kitchen.
Our Food Lab is a place to experiment with taste and design. For us, working with taste images and designing packaging are not separate areas; they belong together and influence each other.
The interplay of look, feel, taste, smell and sound is at the heart of our considerations in order to develop synaesthetic products that appeal to all the senses. Based on our Future Food Trend Radar, we take up current topics from the food sector and then deal with them in a playful and experimental way.
Creative Kitchen Prototyping: Culinary ideas as a brand experience
Taste is not a coincidence – it’s design. In our
The focus is on food as a medium – as a staging, as an experience, as a brand message on the plate.
What is Creative Kitchen Prototyping?
Creative Kitchen Prototyping is our approach to developing culinary innovations quickly, creatively and in line with the brand – through the interplay of design, sensory analysis, communication and storytelling. We use our in-house creative kitchen to test concepts live, make ideas tangible and translate brands into taste.
Whether as a preliminary stage for new products, as part of a brand positioning or for special touchpoints such as events, trade fairs, retail or gastronomy: the possibilities are many and varied – and always sensual.

Food as a brand message
We understand food not only as a product, but also as an emotional medium. Taste, color, shape, texture – all of these tell us something about origin, attitude, target group and zeitgeist. In the Creative Kitchen, we harmonize these elements with brand values and strategic messages.
This results in dishes, products and culinary experiences that not only taste good – but also make brands tangible.

- Gastronomy concepts in search of differentiation
- Event & trade fair organizers with high experience requirements
- Marketing & content teams with a food focus
Whether purely culinary or in combination with design, naming, packaging & campaigning – we think interdisciplinary.
Making innovations visible and tasty

Ideal fields of application:
- Innovation labs & brand workshops
- Product development with customers or partners
- Pitch presentations with a culinary component
- Social media content around new recipes
- Gastronomy projects with a storytelling focus
Trend-conscious, but true to the brand
We are aware of the major food trends – from plant-based to zero waste, from fermentation to hyper-regionality. But we don’t use them as an end in themselves. Our concepts are always created in the context of the brand: What fits the DNA? What is credible? What really differentiates?
This results in solutions that are not interchangeable, but unique.
How does a Creative Kitchen project work?
Our process is agile, co-creative and iterative – often in close collaboration with customer teams:
- Briefing & target definition – What should be developed, tested or made tangible?
- Research & ideation – trend analysis, benchmarking, mood boards
- Concept development – food ideas, recipe suggestions, storyline
- Prototyping & tasting – preparation, staging, feedback round
- Optimization & handover – finalized recipes, production instructions, content formats
Depending on the project, food photography, video or event staging can also be integrated.
FAQ – Frequently asked questions about the Creative Kitchen
Do you also develop recipes for industrial production?
Our strength lies in creative pre-development. We create recipe suggestions and flavor concepts that can be produced in principle – the final adaptation to industrial processes is usually carried out with a co-packer or R&D partner.
How many food prototypes do you develop per project?
It depends on the goal. For a brand test it can be 2-3 variants, for an event line 10-15 mini-dishes. Everything is modular and depends on the budget and time horizon.
What does a Creative Kitchen project cost?
The costs vary depending on the scope, duration, ingredients, content production and additional services (e.g. workshop, photo shoot). We create an individual offer based on the objective and use case.
Is this only interesting for big brands?
No – start-ups, SMEs and smaller food brands in particular benefit from fast, creative input. Our approach is scalable and adapts to the size of the organization in question.
Can you also cook on site?
Yes – we are mobile. For certain formats (e.g. trade fairs, show cooking, workshops), we can also come to you with our team and equipment – or accompany you with the food set-up at external locations.
Conclusion: Food is design – with all the senses
The Creative Kitchen is our laboratory, stage and workshop all in one. This is where we create culinary ideas that bring brands to life, tell stories and inspire target groups. Whether for a product, brand or moment – we create taste that lasts.
