Shellworks produces Vivomer, a sustainable bioplastic made from microorganisms found in the sea or soil. Four designers, Ed Jones, Insiya Jafferjee, Amir Afshar and Andrew Edwards from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College, have developed the nature-based monomaterial.
