Keeping Honey In Its Natural Home

Honey Packaging Made From Pure Beeswax

The Bee Loop Honey Pot is made from 100% pure beeswax and is intended to be used as packaging for honey in order to have a positive impact on bees’ existence. The pot’s limit the need of glass or plastic containers that are used for storing honey. Designed and produced in Lithuania, it is a zero-waste honey packaging where the innovative design, philosophy of nature, and tradition of beekeeping meet.

The container is made only of two components: 100% natural beeswax and a linen string. The beeswax is organic, biodegradable, zero-waste, recyclable, renewable, antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, and even edible material. It is where honey feels the best – it’s at home.  Organic linen string is used, as a honey pot opener, and added to the design in order to make the opening of the pot more sustainable. To open the pot you pull the string to the side and it cuts a layer of beeswax, naturally sealing the pot and the lid together. After consuming the honey, the pots can be reused for storing sugar, nuts and other goods. Alternatively, the beeswax container can be given back to the beekeeper for recycling and reusing – when the beekeeper returns beeswax to the hive the never-ending circle of honey-making continues. Or as the beekeepers like to call it, the Bee Loop.
