From newly cut meats to freshly picked fruit, Sirane‘s packaging pads absorb decay leading moisture and ethylene. By increasing shelf-life, these pads are able to reduce the food waste often connected with fresh goods.  The pads are available in a range of colours, absorption levels, shapes and sizes to suit all applications. Single-sided or double-sided pads are also available. 

Their product line offers  compostable and recyclable pads made from cellulose. The pads are claimed to be recyclable certified for existing paper streams by the non-profit OPRL. It is also claimed to be recyclable and have positive repulpability according to EN 134320 guidelines.
