From 2026, we will raise 1% for a good cause on every euro of the agency’s turnover. At the end of the year, we will donate this one percent of our net sales revenue to an organization that demonstrably creates ecological or social added value.
In the past, we have divided our commitment into two areas: on a social level (social impact), we have been supporting the “Arche” in Frankfurt with donations and organizing activities for the kids since 2015. Our own bee colony is our contribution to environmental protection.
You can find out what else we are already doing and what we are planning for the future in our Sustainability Radar. This page is not intended to replace an external audit or claim to be complete. We have chosen this simplified form of reporting for our small company in order to set ourselves goals and visualize what we have achieved.
As our radar shows, we are reducing our agency footprint and that of our employees on the job through various measures. In addition, we have offset 274 tons of CO2 through various measures.
One thing is certain: our greatest impact by far is the advice we provide to our customers in their day-to-day work. We are clearly positioned here as a “partner for change” and help our customers to generate a positive impact through innovative products and more recyclable packaging.

50% electric drive
Electric drive ratio 50/50 Half of our company fleet is electronically powered. In addition, our […]
Electricity from renewable sources. Our ideas are powered by 100% green electricity, which provides juice for our computers, servers and cell phones in the office.
Climate Action Now. We launched our Climate Action this year, together with our partner Planted. To do this, we had the entire carbon footprint (Scope 1-3) of our company calculated. We now offset this carbon footprint of our company through global climate protection projects that meet the highest standards and are therefore purely additional. You can learn more[…]
Electric drive ratio 50/50 Half of our company fleet is electronically powered. In addition, our agency location is centrally located in Frankfurt. Today, the majority of employees already come to the office by public transport or bicycle.
Environmental protection through bees. We have built up our own bee colony with the help of a beekeeper and thus make a small contribution to environmental protection in Germany. Here it goes to our honey! – 1. a large part of agricultural yields in plant, horticultural and fruit growing depends on pollination by bees. 2. without bees we would[…]
Tips for the ton. We separate our office waste for improved recycling management (within the given possibilities by the disposal company or our landlord). This certainly does not deserve an award. We mention it because waste separation is still not a matter of course for all companies and private households. Increasing recycling rates hinges on a number of things.[…]
For a good cause. Our support for the children’s and youth charity “Die Arche” in Frankfurt has been running since 2015. In the meantime, more than 10.000€ have been donated and 1-2 actions with the kids have been organized every year. You can find out what has happened here in the last few years on the “Meal” page.
Loopline Feedback Routine. Everyone on the team is entitled to a semi-annual feedback session (60-120 min) in a structured format. For this purpose, we use the Loopline software and individual questionnaires to do justice to each level and to develop individual potentials.
Bonus goals. Since 2018, we have offered all employees a fixed bonus for achieving sales targets (collectively) from the second year of employment and supplement individual targets/bonuses if desired.
Access to agency software. Our internal agency software provides all employees with information on current team projects and all revenues, including project profitability.
Our own Academy. The MILK. Academy provides an overview of the most interesting training opportunities, events, etc. for our specialty. We divide the offer into three levels (Basic, Medium, Expert) and four areas: Food, Packaging, Creative, Leadership. Sounds more like a corporate program? Well, we just structured what we thought was interesting and everyone on the team is[…]
Introduction of special roles. Everyone in the team has a so-called special role that has nothing to do with the actual job profile. This is about spreading organizational development over all shoulders and reducing top-down decision-making. In this way, everyone in the team shares responsibility for the further development of the agency. For example, this is how our Material[…]
Collective responsibility for projects. Since 2017, we have been working according to the principles of the so-called lean &agile management philosophy. This empowers all employees to act on their own responsibility. For example, all projects are planned “bottom-up” by implementation teams and effort is estimated where the work is done (in creation). Large customer accounts run independently and successfully[…]
In-house Design Studio. Everyone in the team the firm claim to free projects. She or he can use these for their own projects (in the food packaging context) or, for example, draw on the numerous product ideas from our Food Lab. This has resulted in many wonderful designs over the years that we probably wouldn’t have been able[…]
Stable development. We have always grown slowly over the years, out of ourselves. The quality of our work has always taken precedence over quantity and growth targets. So we have grown healthily to a size that suits us very well. For us, further growth means becoming even better, never stopping to learn, and operating profitably in the[…]
The agency in your own hand. Our high equity ratio is also an expression of the successful business management of the past 10 years. In this way, we have gained independence and created financial scope for new areas of business under our own steam.
Agenda for more sustainability. With this page, we provide information about the measures we have taken so far and future efforts to increase sustainability in our agency. The documentation is now public and for the first time we are talking about what we are ready to do. But we don’t want to rest on that. There is still much[…]
Clean drinking water from the tap. In 2026, we will switch our drinking water supply: From the previous supply in returnable glass bottles by our trusted beverage supplier to the drinking water available from the tap. This will reduce the CO2 footprint along the entire supply chain.
1% for the Good. From 2026, we will raise 1% for a good cause on every euro of the agency’s turnover. At the end of the year, we will donate this one percent of our net sales revenue to an organization that demonstrably creates ecological or social added value. This systematic approach is designed to ensure continuous financing of[…]
Promote circular economy. As is made clear on our sustainability page, we take our responsibility as designers seriously and see the much greater leverage for a more sustainable economy in our projects and our design itself. When we work with the largest so-called distributors of food packaging on more sustainable solutions, every small step has a big impact![…]
Supplier and customer feedback for employees. In the future, we would like to gather opinions from our business partners in addition to management feedback in order to become more independent of internal observation. In this way, we believe we can identify even more potential and further develop our employees.
New agency business model. We want to take responsibility with our design. This also means challenging the tried-and-true fee-for-service billing model. Instead of charging for our efforts at the end of a project, we would like to share more in the risk as well as the success of the products we design. Commissions instead of fees are the goal.[…]
Vertical and horizontal collaborations. In the future, we want to open up more and think and work in a network. The network will be decisive in determining whether we develop further. To this end, after many years of an ego perspective, we are now increasingly looking for strategic partners along the value chain for food & design. However, we[…]
Bio-based packaging, biodegradable (standard). Want an example? This concept “Soupa Soup” of us tries to go the royal road “Zero Waste” by dissolving the primary packaging of a noodle soup thanks to its foil packaging based on algae(Notpla) right in the boiling water and let it disappear. Click here to go to the project from us. The LZ reported[…]
Experiment “Shaire”. As the name suggests, it’s about a new way of sharing. What is fair? And who has what share? We are thinking of a new form of organization. More on this when this model takes concrete shape….
Your own startup. From the series of our own product ideas, we would like to start a new company one day and implement an idea ourselves. That would mean new territory once again and a change from the agency role to the manufacturer role for us. After countless consulting projects in the food sector, we believe in being[…]
